McCrudden Retains Senior Title

Martin McCrudden came through a tough field of players to successfully defend his senior title, managing to beat the likes of Kevin Monroe, Rodney Goggins and John Torpey on his way to the final. In the final he defeated none other than Vinnie Muldoon by a scoreline of 8 frames to 6 in a thrilling match. This is an amazing feat for a man who had a serious car accident the previous winter and who hadn’t picked up a cue until a few days before playing his last 64 match. Congratulations Martin!!

McHugh Wins Masters Title

Richard McHugh defeated Anthony Bonnar by a scoreline of 5 frames to 4 in the first match of the championships on the Friday evening. Well done Richard!!

Corrigan Successful in Intermediate Final

Joe Corrigan won the Intermadiate Title by defeating Darren Flaherty by 4 frames to 1. Congrats Joe!!

Murray Picks up Senior Billiards Title

Aidan Murray wins Billiards Final against Phil Murray by a scoreline of 513 to 445. Well done Aidan!!

O’Gorman Wins Intermediate Billiards Title

Victor O’Gorman from Monkstown defeated Joe Dohney by a scoreline of 500 to 462. Congratulations Victor!!

Sherwin Wins Ladies Title

Michelle Sherwin defeated Treasa Keegan in the final of the Ladies Snooker Championship by 4 frames to 0. Well done Michelle!!

Tobin Takes Under 14 and Under 16 Titles

Aaron Tobin from Youghal beat Chris Duffy from Donegal in the Final of the Under 14′s by 3 frames to 1 on Saturday evening. He carried this momentum into Sunday morning when he defeated Josh Boileau from Newbridge in the final of the Under 16′s by 3 frames to 2. The future looks very promising for this young man. Doyle Takes Under 19 Billiards Title
